Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products.
- Manage inventory by accurately picking, packing, and staging orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles and OSHA safety standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, verifying quantities against shipping documents.
- Follow safety protocols strictly, including wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to traffic patterns in the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory audits and stock rotation to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for scanning barcodes and operating warehouse management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
