Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials efficiently throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
- Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner, ensuring cargo security and proper placement.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on forklifts to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards and housekeeping protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and cycle counting accuracy.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and documentation.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but we offer training for the right candidate.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
