Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening of cargo.
- Inventory management, including scanning barcodes and verifying stock levels against picking lists.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (must be presented at time of interview).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
