What You Will Do:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain. Your primary focus will be on the safe and efficient movement of goods within our facility. You will work closely with inventory managers and other warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of orders.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and organize materials safely.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and update stock counts as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data.
