Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks) in a busy warehouse setting.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and delivery trucks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking stock levels and tagging items as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
