Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize space utilization and ensure easy accessibility.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA) with valid license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and tracking data.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
