Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Stack and organize pallets accurately to maximize storage space and ensure inventory integrity.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and inventory counts.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
