Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and stock verification.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory tracking.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
