Job Overview
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of industrial vehicles to move, locate, and stack merchandise. You will play a critical role in ensuring our supply chain remains efficient and our inventory is accurately managed.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Pallet Jacks) safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, containers, and railcars with precision and speed.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs and digital inventory records (WMS experience preferred).
- Keep the warehouse aisles and workspaces organized to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy machinery in varying weather conditions.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety protocols.
