Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Organize, stack, and palletize merchandise accurately within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in inventory counting and stock management processes.
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding material handling.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
