Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and safe at all times in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Load and unload trailers using proper material handling techniques to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Current and valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, to accommodate business needs.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and record-keeping.
