Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move, stack, and organize inventory materials.
- Load and unload trailers and shipping containers in compliance with shipping schedules and safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and stock verification.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to process returns and manage damaged goods.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Class A or Class B forklift operator certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Safety First: Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate machinery for long shifts.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English skills for reading safety signs and communicating with team leads.
