Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move materials in warehouse/dock environments
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Load/unload freight trucks and containers with precision using proper rigging techniques
- Execute inventory control procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily operational targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 7 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in standing/walking environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
