Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and productivity
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and staging shipments for delivery
- Participate in regular safety training and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and equipment operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license preferred
