Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load & Unload: Load, unload, and stage merchandise for delivery or storage using proper safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting stock, locating items, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and orderly to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- License: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
