Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Pack, seal, and label orders for shipment with high accuracy to minimize errors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to 5S standards and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order priorities and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
