Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts daily for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Ensure all inventory is accurately stacked, labeled, and stored according to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Accurately complete daily logs and inventory reports.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify inventory counts and spot discrepancies.
- Safety First: Deep understanding of warehouse safety regulations and hazard recognition.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and team members.
