Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure all materials are stacked and stored securely to prevent accidents.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock location systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a forklift in a distribution or warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math and computer literacy skills for inventory logging.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
