Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently at all times.
- Load and unload shipments from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling and organization of goods.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the immediate work area.
- Manage inventory by accurately recording stock movements using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity targets and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and completing paperwork.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime shifts.
