Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning barcodes and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize shipping and receiving tasks efficiently.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of products for timely distribution.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A is a plus but not required).
- 1-2 years of previous forklift experience in a logistics or warehousing environment.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with barcode scanners.
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proven track record of following safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace.
