Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and stage freight accurately to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of machinery to identify potential safety hazards or mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist with inventory control, including stock rotation, cycle counts, and scanning.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols strictly.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a distribution or warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and a proven track record of punctual attendance.
