Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Stack and organize pallets safely according to company standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and reconciling stock discrepancies.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CLP) license is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent physical stamina for standing and lifting.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) is preferred.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
