Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve inventory with precision and speed.
- Perform thorough daily pre-shift inspections of all machinery to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Load and unload trailers and shipping containers, ensuring accurate documentation and weight limits are met.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies with accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment at all times.
- Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory flow and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and checking weight tickets.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
