Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Pallet Management: Properly stack, organize, and secure pallets to ensure optimal storage space and prevent accidents.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by logging incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a professional standard of operation.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) required.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
