Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Inspect machinery for safety hazards before operation and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging, counting, and organizing stock.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and meet daily production targets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and ensure they are clean and operational.
- Secure pallets and materials using straps, bands, and wrap to ensure safe transport.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality record.
