Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient for daily operations.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of goods.
- Handle freight with care, ensuring damage-free handling during loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory tracking.
- Valid driver's license (CDL not required but a plus).
