Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper labeling of stock.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required; we will train the right candidate.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory scanning.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) is preferred but not always required for internal operations.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
