Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to meet daily production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to 5S workplace organization principles.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts or stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
