Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate various forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, Pallet Jack) to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders while maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Overtime Availability: Be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, to meet business demands.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads for transport.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate warehouse environments.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for driving duties and warehouse access.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in order picking and inventory counts.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start and flexible shifts.
