Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading dock areas.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance and proper maintenance.
- Organize and stack pallets according to company safety standards and inventory management protocols.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy of orders and inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory scanning and counting.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
