Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and documentation are completed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free warehouse floor at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and checking shipping documents.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
