Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect machinery prior to operation to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company standards.
- Manage inventory by accurately counting stock, verifying quantities, and organizing stockrooms.
- Follow all safety protocols including wearing required PPE and adhering to traffic patterns within the warehouse.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including verifying paperwork and preparing orders for delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating reach trucks or pallet jacks is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
