Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate electric and gas-powered forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain high standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to coordinate daily operations.
- Assist in general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and palletizing as needed.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification or be willing to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management software.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
