Job Summary:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving, locating, and transferring products within our warehouse facility. You will ensure that materials are stored correctly and that all safety protocols are followed at all times.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload shipments.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Inspect forklifts daily for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class III Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read shipping labels and inventory logs.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
