Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock placement efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
