Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring zero discrepancies.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored according to safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Packaging: Properly package and label items for shipment to ensure they arrive at their destination intact.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse managers and team members to coordinate workflow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not required).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (1+ years preferred).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven warehouse floors.
- License: Valid Driverβs License required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, have a clean driving record, and pass a background check.
