Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintenance checks on equipment before use to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Stack and organize products securely to prevent damage and optimize storage space.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and traffic rules within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in the organization of the shipping and receiving areas to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
