Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely.
- Inspect equipment for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Secure cargo using straps, braces, and covers to prevent damage during transport.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
