Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (RF Scanners) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload freight, pallets, and raw materials onto and off of trucks, railcars, and conveyors.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
- Sort, stack, and organize inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and easy access.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational policies.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent forklift operation experience preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
