Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Manage inventory levels by accurately counting and documenting stock movements using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient warehouse operations.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding hazardous materials and heavy lifting.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred but not always required for immediate hires.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety instructions precisely.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
