Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies regarding hazardous materials and lifting.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CFP) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to identify inventory discrepancies and report them immediately.
- License: Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Safety Focus: Proven track record of following safety procedures and accident prevention.
