As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that products are moved efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and trucks accurately and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Accurately count, label, and record inventory stock using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including shrink wrapping and strapping.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (valid license/certification required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
