Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack merchandise efficiently.
- Load and unload freight safely and accurately, ensuring product integrity is maintained.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or Class B) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse operations.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
