Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and record inventory levels to maintain stock accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to prevent accidents.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify shipment contents and ensure proper documentation is processed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFL) required.
- Experience: Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety standards.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
