Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Pallet Handling: Efficiently break down and assemble pallets while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, strictly following OSHA safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- License: Valid forklift certification (CPC or equivalent) is required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
