Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing PPE and following traffic patterns.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- 1-2 years of previous forklift experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
