Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely load, unload, and stack merchandise in warehouses and trailers.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper tagging and documentation of stock movement.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and shrink-wrapping orders.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
