Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory levels and operational needs.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 preferred) or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven warehouse terrain.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
