Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment for all employees.
- Material Preparation: Prepare pallets for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and secure wrapping.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to coordinate daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record required for forklift operation.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
