Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure that materials are moved efficiently and safely from one location to another within our warehouse facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety defects before and after each shift and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and log material transfers.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Clean and organize work areas to maintain high standards of housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
